Morning Reflection – March 27 2012

March 27, 2012

A Jesus Moment morning reflection.  Today I was reading in 2 Samuel 9 and it includes one of my favorite stories, the story of Mephibosheth.

2 Samuel 9:11
11 Then Ziba said to the king, “Your servant will do whatever my lord the king commands his servant to do.” So Mephibosheth ate at David’s table like one of the king’s sons.

The kindness of the king is to restore the broken Mephibosheth to the Kings table.  That is a picture of the kindness our King Jesus extends to us.  We are all broken, and yet Jesus has made a way for us to sit at the King’s table and be one of the King’s children.  What a great priest we have over the house of God!

  1. I feel that God brought me here to live this season of my life, so I could learn from a great teacher and disciple, Pastor Steve Lawes.

I am overwhelmed when I awaken each new day for the blessings given me through my Lord in our Vineyard church family, learning programs and worship.

I believe that God is eqipping me for His plan for me to give back; just as He has given to me. I stand ready each day and put on His armor as I enter the world of our islands.

Thank you, Pastor Steve, for your insight and heart in all you continue to create online and in church for us all.
